I liked Giri Giri, but only as it's full song.
Truth on the other hand annoyed me at first with the uber hyper, 'QUEST FOR ALL TRUTH!'
Only after the song changed did I decide I actually liked it, and now it's one of my favorite openings.
(Guess which one I voted for.  )

I like both of them a lot, but I still prefer "Truth." I hated Girigiri at first until I actually began looking at the lyrics and actually listening to the song. It's actually quite an interesting song...

Truth has some very generic pop lyrics, but they're decent enough I guess. They get the job done.

I happen to really love the second to last bit of the chorus in girigiri; for some reason, I remembered those four lines within only a listen or two of it. There's just this rhythm to it that really locks you in. Not to mention the way Koshi sings "girigiri" and right into the rest of the lines in the way only he can.

When Shoudou comes up, I will look for some heroes to rise to the occasion. Don't let me down!

I will say that some of the stupid effects used with the old OPs in that OP and the blatant difference in quality of art between OPs 3-5 and 1-2 was pretty bad.



also, it's quite refreshing that in 2008/2009 I heard music with guitars I've never heard before where the lyrics didn't involve the singer wanting to murder someone.

To the as-yet uninitiated: LOVE PHANTOM is one of the most recognizable B'z tunes, and nearly sold a million copies in one week as a single alone when it was released in 1995. The video kyuu linked to is, as stated, him playing an orchestra version with... yeah, an orchestra. Veterans of DCTV will recognize the video simply because I played it more or less every other release day.

Anyway, for my vote I'm going to have to pick Truth.

As much as I love B'z and GiriGiri Chop, the song just doesn't seem to fit as a Conan opening, as evidenced by the use of the recycled video clips pf the older openings and "filler" of the song's PV clips.

By itself as a song, I would definitely pick GiriGiri over Truth, but since we are talking Conan Openings, Truth wins out.

Hmm... This really made me thinking.

These two are one of those I tried to like but failed to suite my taste. When I first watched them, I didn't really thought I'm going watch them again. I tried to sing them but I didn't memorize any of these.

Anyway, I voted for Truth although Girigiri Chop's song is better for me.
