The Great DC Opening Contest (Truth vs. Girigiri Chop)

I always liked both.  Giri Giri Chop is just epic to me music wise, but the sequence was lacking since they were using the "Copy and paste" method for it.  Truth ~A Great Detective of Love~ is a good song too, especially as a semi TWO MIX fan (I've still yet to hear anything by the duo, turned trio, as || MIX⊿DELTA).  Truth has a better sequence than Giri Giri Chop as far as the DC stuff goes...but, to date, Giri Giri Chop is the only intro to have live-action performance tossed into the intro.  It was a nice touch to see B'z performing and I guess you could consider that intro as a DC montage.

Now, if I were to base it on song alone, I'd probably go with Giri Giri Chop, but since for things like this, I take both song and sequence into account...I still don't know which to go with. lol  Both are good in their own ways.  By that, I go by how well the song fit he sequence used for it and both were well used.

TRUTH!! Absolutely! GiriGiri is a good song (B'z are awesome) but the animation they used for it is REALLY lazy and not good. Plus, Two-Mix totally rocks too! I just LOVE Truth! *^_^* I made a ringtone for my phone a while back of Truth....still have it, still use it from time to time (recently made more, of Revive and Mysterious and Ai Wa Kurayami no Naka de). It's such an awesome song, and the animation is pretty cool! *^_^*

I don't think that was even the problem. Shodou's OP worked FAR better. Girigiri just had TERRIBLE copying and pasting. Especially some of the stupid powerpoint-like effects.

But having B'z in the intro made up for it, imo.

I like all the B'z songs in DC, but how come they always get the short end of the stick with shitty ass openings?  Shodou and Giri Giri both are just compilations of past animations, why?!

And then they give Mai Kuraki like superb ass animations, like Kaze and Revive and Love for you(hated that opening).

This is the easiest choice I will ever make.
Truth is my favourite opening as far as I have gotten (up to ep. 400), although there are other good ones. And Giri Giri is the one I like least, without any doubt. I still can't understand why the great opening had to give way for the terrible one 
Of course I voted for Truth!

I'm very confused about this vote.. can't decide.

Song-wise:
I love both songs almost equally, they're both in my top favorites list and they both make me so energetic and hyper everytime I listen to them. However, I have to admit that I tend to love "Girigiri Chop" a little bit more because of the FREAKING AWESOME guitar solo: I ADORE electric guitar (actually I started loving electric guitar and Rock and Hard-Rock because of B'z awesome songs). But then again, I love the tune of "Truth" and it used to be my #1 song at some period of time. So I'm really stuck here.

Animation-wise:
"Truth" has new scenes PLUS it's Haibara's first appearance in an opening!! It's also a revolutionary opening which announces the real start of the story plot. On the contrary, the animation used for "Girigiri Chop" was just a bunch of previous scenes from previous openings; which is NOT FAIR!! However, the appearance of B'z alone makes it pure awesomeness!! I generally watch that opening just because of the B'z scenes!

So yeah, I'm still stuck here. I'm thinking of voting for "Truth" just because it's the only Two-Mix opening, while B'z have other songs so they still have other chances. But, I still can't vote for "Truth" because I feel it will be so unfair towards "Girigiri Chop". Plus, I feel like almost everyone voted for "Truth" and I don't want "Girigiri Chop" to be left over. It so deserves to get through.

Well, I'll have to make a choice eventually.. I still have few days to think about it.

Song-wise, Girigiri is THE BEST, second only to *insert song by ZARD here*
Truth had superb clips, but the song itself was a bit techno-ish.

PS: why do all the b'z openings have recycled footage from all the other openings? D: Shoudou was THE BEST OPENING EVER but the clips totally ruined it. [atleast they didn't add any cheap special effects, thank god.]

Also, I don't know what I'll do when we get to START vs Hoshi no Kagayaki yo ;_;
