Akonyl wrote: an intro with a riddle, eh?!  How new~
Spoiler:
I'd say "mystery" but that was in your post D:
anyway, welcome to the forum!
Is that so? (^^)" Sorry about that. I finally changed it and yes, your answer is correct. Oh and I haven't seen any introductory posts w/ riddles in them so I decided to give mine the twist.
Conia wrote: I'm finally reading your intro :D

Welcome!
I've finally found time to to type it out. Thanks again Conia for your help in the cbox. I really appreciate it!
And of course, I hope to enjoy my stay here. :)

Nice to meet you and I like your avatar :)
Thank you very much. It's a pleasure to meet you as well as fellow fans of the anime.
Haibara Ai/Shiho Miyano is my favorite DC character. : )
bluekaitou1412 wrote: Hey, I'm a fan of Tim Burton remakes too! ^^ The Benjamin Button movie was weird though :P

Anyway...
Spoiler:
Welcome to the family!

First and foremost, I'd like to inform you about a certain member here who goes by the name xpon: He is creepy, very very creepy, so if you're a girl, stay the hell away, and if you're a boy stay the hell away. In short, STAY THE HELL AWAY.

On the Off-Topic Board, and I'm sure you'll find soon enough, weird but awesome organizations are commonplace. They doesn't require you to join, but you'll find it hard to resist taking a peek on what they are and what they do. To make things easy for you, here's a list of the current groups inhabiting the OT: First, we have the Japan Domination Committee, the very first DCTP organization founded by yours truly and his awesome cat. If conquering countries is your forte, please visit us here. We might need of your assistance. Next up, the original Harem led by Abs. and PhoenixTears. Harems are normal, so don't get freaked out that much. Though it's okay to scream and yell for help if you ever get recruited. Then we have the ever-so-popular Onionhead Fanclub, managed by our resident onion, nomemory. If you have a penchant for cute emoticons, then you might want to join, if not, I insist, you MUST join. Next in line is the CCP residing in the First Impressions Thread. I can't say much about them, but you'll find out by asking Conia or Callid, the founders of the pact. And last but not the least, my sister's twisted Sad East Kingdom, the newest group to-date. I'll stay away from it if I were you. Unless you're an M, then feel free to... well, be the Queen's slave.

Ever heard of the game Mafia? Come play with us. Let's kill...

...some time.

Oh, and another thing, if you come across Girl19 here, don't pick up a fight (or even discuss something with her) if you don't want to get your ass kicked. Stay away from Kleene Onigiri, too, if she wants to make you her new punching bag-- yes, riceballs can punch. Be wary of Eve for she is, well, evil. I need not to elaborate.

Don't worry about that shadow behind you. That's probably Conia, our Community Detective-- if not, then it's Shadowman, who else? Another one here named Akonyl likes bees. He's the Bee Princess, so he expects you to pay homage to him and give him wasp presents.

A little heads-up: Parkur is a flirt, so don't be surprised if he sends lots of ":-*" your way. (line deleted)

Don't worry, you'll meet lots of friends in the course of your stay here, like bears, holiday butt-punchers, mad scientists, evil princesses, ninja assassins, weird-named people, and drunk raccoons. A lot of skirmishes happen between members, and you might get involved, but please do not try to even utter a single insult against Ai, if you don't want to be squashed, chopped, burned, tortured, pitch-forked or poked by the AiCons. Of course, the same applies to Kaitou KID. Though I reckon it's covered already by the mods.

Oh, I almost forgot! You need to attend this class... you'll need it.

---

DCTP forumers are unique. They're wild, crazy, and out-of-this-world. But that makes them special.

So, again, I welcome you here, and please don't hesitate in praising Haibara, many people do that, you'll pass unadverted in front of the mods eyes. Go off-topic (Even in Off-Topic), annoy people-- just go and have fun.

I'm bluekaitou1412, btw. I'm married to a cookie, and have a cat for a pet. I hope you enjoy your stay... and hopefully you too, will find this family the best there is.
Damn it Conia, do this next time >:( :P
I find most of Tim Burton's works amazing. I'm glad to meet someone who does too! Do you have a favorite movie If you don't mind my asking? Just a little bit of trivia, I share the same birthday with him. : )

I really like how described the community in your post. Sounds really great and fun. I've never been warned nor kicked out of the forums I have membership in so rest assured, I won't wreak havoc or break the rules. I think my personality will help neutralize all the extreme ones out there. The way, the forces of DCTP world won't be disturbed and we can all live in a perfect DC haven. ;)

I'm pretty excited to meet the quirky members of the forum. Thank you very much and I definitely look forward to my stay!

I finished reading your intro and found out that you like the manga "The Liar Game"
Have you watched this yet? It's the drama of the manga
^.^

I still have lots of reading to do but the manga has interested me since last year. It's really good and I find it different from the other series. I haven't seen the drama adaptation but I will check out when the semester is over. Thank you very much! : )

Riddle...
I got the same answer as Akonyl.  I'll have to think on it some more.
Well, I'm not expecting everyone to read that wall of text. I don't mind really. : ) and I think I'm a boring person to be with (not that I'm implying the same to you) but for the record I can be bit neurotic sometimes. One could even say I'm mix of Saber (Fate/Stay Night) + Sawako Kurunoma (Kimi ni Todoke). I can be very contradicting with myself that I confuse myself sometimes too. (Uh..it's all up to you to take this seriously or not.)
Spoiler:
As for the riddle, both you and Akonyl are correct. :)

I am fleeting, I come and and go.
One thing for sure, is that no one knows,
when I arrive, or bid good day,
the truth of my nature, no one can say.

I am wherever the Sherlockan is,
within the victim, the murder, the crime he sees,
"There is only one truth" he says so with ease,
to him I leave this question, he may answer as he please.

"What Am I?"
My first thought was actually...
Spoiler:
..."Watson".
The reason? (for those who want to figure out the meaning behind the quotation marks without reading too much, then scroll down to 4/5 of the webpage)
I read this for class. Take no offense about the idea from the transcribed speech if it isn't quite agreeable to you. If anything, get a good laugh from it (because the speaker meant that at a Sherlock Holmes fan meeting).

Anyways, welcome! Hope you have some fun here.
No worries. No offense was taken. I really like the essay/article by the way and I did have a good laugh with it. You have my deepest appreciation for sharing that wonderful transcript. I believe Rex Stout's theory may be plausible but I'll need to look up more material before I'm fully convinced.

I like the conversations I'm having so far and the people are interesting so I definitely think my stay here won't be a dull one. : )

Pleased to meet you Cheesus. And thank you for sharing such interesting music. It motivated me to write something today. I also find it a nice experience seeing someone who has the image of a guerrilla leader as their display picture, especially in an anime forum at that. I felt not too many know about Mr. Guevara but I've been proven wrong now. Kudos to you mate and kudos to the Sir who has the most famous photograph in the world.

Yeah, I enjoyed it as well but my favorite Tim Burton movie would be Caroline. I find it so..psychological. Actually, I only found out last year that I shared the same birthday with him. I stopped celebrating my birthday since I was in high school but he kind of gave me reason to at least have a cake on my big day. : )

I shall try not to let my awkwardness take over.

Ms. Izumi Sakai has a special place in my heart. Ms. Ayumi Hamasaki made me fall in love with music. They're two of the most influential people in my life.  :)

The way you type reminds of how several fanfic writers portrayed Heiji with his Osakan accent. He's all like livin' freely and keepin' it real, y'know? And there's 'Zuha, that crush of his (although he constantly says she's just his childhood bestfriend). That boy, too dang stubborn to admit his feelings fer her.
Spoiler:
I realize that I don't do too well with character imitation. I'm laughing so much at myself right now. Haha.  ;D
I'm glad to know there are other out there who like seeing lots of words. Empty spaces somewhat bother me you see. *sweatdrop*
