Gambling Apocalypse Kaiji

I'll like to recommend the anime Gambling Apocalypse Kaiji I just started watching it right now and it's AMAZING <3.

Plot:  Itou Kaiji is a bum who, in his despair steals car emblems and slashes tires.  One day a shady debt collector by the name of Endou approached him and explained that he owes his company 3,850,000 yen with compound interest.  He then offers him a chance to pay off the impossible debt by coaxing him to board the "Espior" - a gambling ship where few return...

The art style might be a bit weird at first but you get used to it after a while.  To me this anime is loads of fun, but it might be disturbing to some others.  It doesn't really contain any "gambling" if that's what you're thinking.  I'll recommend it for people who likes mental games or psychological thrillers.

I'll probably read the manga after I finish the anime, I love this type of stuff.

Done, as I thought this anime is quite lovely ^^ thought it started getting ridiculous.  Ah well anime is anime.  I hate how they dragged it mercilessly around the end though...I found myself skipping ahead by 10 second implements. 

I'm going to be watching Legend of Mahjong: Akagi now...like I said I love this sort of thing.
