I decided to start watching Chihayafuru after the DC karuta case was animated.
My thought after watching 643: Hey, isn't there an anime about karuta?". Then just like that, I decided to give Chihayafuru a try.

My thoughts after watching 2 episodes of Chihayafuru: This is so much better than any anime drama I watched last year. I'm so glad I decided to watch this

Actually, there times when even I get stunned when they focus the camera on Chihaya

. Just like the library scene with Oe in episode 6.

Taichi's getting to be a pretty compelling character. I felt for him when he lost to Nishida.

Arata's going to have to have some serious screen time to compete with Taichi's character growth in his absence.

Speaking of that, I read that DVD sales aren't going well, which probably means the show won't get a second season. D:
