So, I started watching Higurashi

main character's mom is voiced by Sonoko and I can't get it out of my head
the police investigator is voiced by Megure and I can't get it out of my head

this is not the first time it's happened

I can't stop picturing the characters fro mother shows and it ruins everything.

Something tells me that Megure's voice actor will never get out of that clique of voice overs...

Should see the English dub Funi. always recast the same actors.

My god it's horrible, try watching a bunch of Funi's dub of Shin-chan (Happiness bunny episodes) then watch Case Closed, Jimmy and the evil bunny mix into the weirdest combo of characters ever, also Amy's voice is done by the rich snob girl in Shin-chan. And I think there were more.

I had the same character confusion problem with Vermouth (DC), Eva (Monster) and Lady with Scar (Black Lagoon)... The dominant character is Eva...

Just wait until you try these series ;

Don't mean to brag, but I've watched them all, and i just can't get her voices out of my head...

Yeah... like when I found out:

Shinichi=Inuyasha=L

I thought that it was awesome.

But then I found out that

Conan=Kitaro (GeGeGe no Kitaro)

My brain exploded.

Shinichi = Usopp

And I first heard Usopp and then Shinichi.... took me long to get used to that X.x

When I hear some Voice actors in other Animes (Vodka for example) then I usually recognize them. But this doesn't ruin the Anime for me. I find it funny but nor disturbing (usually ;p)

That was another one that was sorta funny, I also like how they're all blonde non-Japanese characters.

Shinichis VA played L, sweat how did I not notice. I also have to watch Inuyasha.

yup, took me time to notice, but when i did, i screamed "DAMN IT HECK WHAT THE HELL SHIT IS THAT SHINICHI'S VOICE?"

Hahaha!  DC voice actors are everywhere!  My most recent experience was when I watched Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne. I was overloaded....

The main girl's best friend was voiced by Sonoko
The "evil" guy in the second half is voiced by Shinichi/Kaito
The main guy's forced fiance and the evil girl in the second half are both voiced by Ran
Also whenever the main guy started to yell he'd sound like Heiji

Since all of those characters appear in every episode in the second half, it was a very amusing time.  Sonoko wanted to catch the kaitou, Ran wanted kill the kaitou, Shinichi wanted to kill the kaitou, Ran badmouthed Shinichi and he took it calmly... I was amused.

Also the manga was 100x better than the anime.

Yeah, there are many others too

noticed that from a pic in DA Vodka = Zaraki Kenpachi = Ikari Gendou (Evangelion) = any male character in Lucky Star (or at least the male non-main chars i think XD)

Kir = Excel = Sailor Moon = Boa Hancock
