Vote for the currently most slow-paced on-going series
Note: I intentionally excluded One Piece because the story is advancing steadily this past few months...
Here's the inspiration of the poll... I've been reading various rants of anime/manga fans all over the online forum sites... I just wanna know what DCTP posers think...

Detective Conan.
I haven't seen a lot of animes in my life, so DC is almost an obvious choice for me.

Re: Vote for the currently most slow-paced on-going series
I'll say DC. While I have heard that Bleach is going on really slowly and it's just in a powering up contest most of the time rather than plot advancement, I think that's preferable to Detective Conan, where the episodes aren't even being slow inside the plot, they're going slow outside the plot. In Bleach/DBZ, yeah they might fight for 5 years (I never watched Bleach though so iunno), but at least they're fighting the bad guy.
If DC had more cases where the organization was referenced, or perhaps lackeys (like the fake patient in the hospital) were the culprits who were taking care of BO dealings, that would make it somewhat less "slow-paced" (though I put that in quotes because the plot wouldn't really be advancing, but there'd be an illusion of it at least )

Conan. Because I pay attention to the American versions of the Naruto anime...and the Bleach manga. So I have no idea what is going on in Japan.

Bleach also has filler arcs with almost 10 or more episodes... And the fights (mostly random) make the plot move slowly...
But still I think it's DC - very evident on the results of the poll...

well to be fair we're also a DC forum so you're not exactly gonna get fair results.CoolKid3 wrote: Bleach also has filler arcs with almost 10 or more episodes... And the fights (mostly random) make the plot move slowly...

About the only other one I watch is InuYasha, and they're currently cramming about fifty chapters to an episode, so...

Haven't really watched a lot of episodes so I'm not sure how slow paced it is but reading the reactions of some posers online, I think Inuyasha is another drag on series...mangaluva wrote: About the only other one I watch is InuYasha, and they're currently cramming about fifty chapters to an episode, so...

I got used to DC being slow, so voted Naruto (they should really change the title to Sasuke).

Voted DC, although the anime version of Saint Seiya: Lost Canvas is extremely slow, they are like, dunno, 2 episodes per 2 months?

so it's 50 chapters per episode and it's still dragging? Re: Vote for the currently most slow-paced on-going series
Well, the anime is moving fast. The manga dragged for a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time (We GET it; the sword is PIMPED! Now just go kill Naraku already!!) and is now over. The old series of the anime dragged a lot, though. A million stupid AO episodes and several anime-only powers just for AO purposes. It was horribel DX The new series is only 24 episodes for about the latter 35 volumes, though.kkslider5552000 wrote:so it's 50 chapters per episode and it's still dragging?
