Fillers

I just realized that both Naruto and Bleach are entering filler arcs, with the Soul Society getting a new captain in Bleach, and a random mission in Naruto. Anyone know of any other anime that is entering or currently in a filler arc?

It's sad that those shows are going into fillers.  Naruto was only doing about 0.7 chapters per episode as it was, so I don't see why they feel the need to make the manga/anime gap even larger.

Bleach... same thing basically.  Though it's even worse because it's been average-boring ever since the Soul Society arc ended.  The manga JUST got interesting again with this flashback mini-arc, though it was placed in a VERY random spot.

Luckily Detective Conan and DGrayman (my main two animes) aren't doing filler at the moment.

Correct.  Naruto and Bleach use them quite often, sometimes intermingled with canon story (canon being that which is in the manga).

even i don't watch Bleach... I kindda annoyed with naruto filler (eps 150-220)

Well i can't say that i enjoy Fillers... Though i watched all of Naruto S1 so far =)
And Bleach too....
There is a lot of explanation for it.
Say - slow animatiors =)

Or even fear of Manga Finishing...

Whenever i watch filler i think - damn i want my "Mary-sue" to be part of it.

And btw... Conan does have it too =)
Though i watched only 20 ep. =)

Shugo Chara had some fillers in first season. Then, in SC! Doki, it just went downhill from there. Almost the entire season was filler, and the 3rd season.... everything was filler.

Thank God I decided not to watch Shugo Chara after the first Season. If I ever want to go farther into the series, I'm reading the Manga. I'm not a fan of fillers. Though, there are times when the fillers are actually amusing, most of the time they're just annoying.

I watched most of the 2nd season, then quit. Though some of the fillers were good. Such as the Ami one and the Yua arc.(It's the first role I've ever seen Rie Kugimiya in when she doesn't play a Tsundere.)
