Hello everyone!

I wanted to introduce you to a very, very awesome canadian animated series!

It's title is Detentionaire. It's the story of Lee Ping, a high school freshman, who has been sentenced of 1 full year of detention for having made The Biggest Prank Of The Century. The problem? He didn't do it! So, who did it? Why did he or she framed Lee? He has to find out who the true culprit is so he can have a normal school life! And the culprit may be closer than he thought...

So, what's particular about this series? Contrary to shows like DC, the plot of Detentionaire moves on EVERY EPISODE! Everytime something happens in each episode that makes to plot move forward! Every time you watch an episode, you absolutely want to watch the next! It's really awesome! And the show is very funny too! And some twists will make yu jump off your chair!

The only flaw of this series is the low budget animation (made with Flash) but it doesn't affect the quality of the plot at all!

There's a wikia and a Tvtropes page, but I wouldn't advice you to go and check there because of heavy spoilers

There are for now 4 seasons.

Anyways, enjoy the first episode!

and you can watch the rest of the series here: http://www.watchcartoononline.com/anime/detentionaire

To be honest, I like this mystery cartoon a little more than DC ;D

Please say if you like it or not after watching the first episode :)

Does it have any worthwhile mysteries or is it just the plot

there are some seldom mysteries he solves, but the main mystery is the plot and who the culprit is. There are even several clues given to the viewer as to who it is

Well that's the bare minimum but I guess I'll check it out since it seems kind of different from the usual mystery series

Just watched the first 3 episodes and I'm actually quite entertained. I'll probably finish up the 1st season.. Let's see what happens afterwards ;D

Still trying to get used to the crazy long necks though.. And the fact that Holger the SWEDE sounds more like a "German guy speaking English comedy sidekick" stereotype :P

I'm very glad you like it!!! This is such an underrated show!! :)

And I like Holger, he's funny ;D

If you keep watching, it gets better ;)

@ K11chi

Lee isn't some kind of genius detective who solves murders like in DC if that's what you are asking
But he's very intelligent though
also: Skateboarding skillz

You weren't lying. Just finished episode 28. It's been a while since a non-Japanese creation has actually kept me glued to the screen for such a long time (Not to mention this show really DOES move in every single episode. No break at all, I love it!) Quite a lot of crazy stuff going on even at this point ;D
Thanks for the heads up!
