First anime you ever watched?

Hard to remember what exactly was the first anime I ever watched was, but it was probably an anime from toonami or adult swim when they were airing on cartoon network back in the good old days. It was probably Lupin III or gundam wing which were both really good shows.

If my memory doesn't fail, it was one of Dragon Ball, Detective Conan, Captain Tsubasa, Magical DoReMi

First I watched was one of these: Mila Superstar, Kickers or something else I watched but didn't knew it was anime yet.

Didn't watch much of Biene Maja :x. But I saw Heidi and Alfred J. Kwak XD But I didn't manage to watch them regularly either I think. That's why I said the other two. Since I watched almost everything of it (what was shown on TV)

Well, I think that the first anime I watched, consciously knowing it was an anime, was Detective Conan. (Which was about nine years ago... omg!)

But the actual first one was, I guess, Maya, the Bee (which was quite big where I live, because our country was a co-producer.) I think there were some other animes I watched like Heidi, Little Women II: Jo's Boys, Mila, A Little Princess, and other things like that, but I never knew they were anime until I looked them up years later.

I had never heard of manga or anime until I was 12 and the first one I watched was Detective Conan. I have never seen Pokemon or any of the ones that people always have seen when they were younger.

My first was Sailor Moon, when I was roughly six years old. I didn't pick up the manga until I was eleven, and that was the crappy Mixx/Tokyopop edition where half the pages fell out when you opened it.

Probably either Dragonball Z or Pokemon. Can't exactly recall when I first learned shows were anime, but probably around 11 or 12.
