Slice of life - Haruhi Suzumiya, K-ON, Hyouka, Toradora, Lucky Star, Clannad, Sankarea

I am close to finishing Hyouka, and have already watched Haruhi and Toradora!. Someone told me that watching K-On! is a waste of time. I'll put the rest on my list, ranger. Thank you! (:
Our achievements should not see the light of day; but our failures will become widely known.

I-it's not like I enjoy your gratitude or anything!
If you like Kyoto Animation's works, I think you'll enjoy K-ON, especially as a slice of life fan. ALso you should check out Love Snafu (yahari ore no seishun), a currently airing series. Kind of a fresh breath of air for the slice of life series.
Perhaps the most interesting thing about the new Hunter X Hunter adaptation is its slow shift into a more western inspired soundtrack. It reminds me of a lot of modern western action and I guess horror titles in that regard. And that describes basically no anime I've ever seen so its pretty notable.
Gargantia is a series that I feel will be judged entirely by its last episode. Which is a shame that whatever it is or isn't will probably overshadow everything.
also i'm not the only one a bit concerned about the scene where 3 half naked underage girls dance for whistling drunk men right? God dammit Japan.
In a related note, it was weird seeing more blatant fanservice in that one scene than in the entire beach episode.

yeah, I was told to watch Gargantia after the most recent episode, and when it hit that scene in the Carnival episode I was just like uhhhh
uhhhhh
UHHHHHHHH
then later on the main character told the girl to dance for him and I was like "no I really don't need that, thanks". I mean I can usually deal with excessive fanservice but that just made the episode feel awkward as hell.
Oddly enough, the personal lap dance seemed more artsy and less erotic than the previous dance. And my main concern with the previous dance wasn't so much the setting as kkslider alluded to, but the fact that it's the same three girls we see all the time. As if they were the only females in the entire fleet, yet none have boyfriends.
Man i remember when i thought Kyojin was gonna be good, such a ridiculous show, weak cast except Mikasa and I guess Sasha, absurd plot, shitty animation with so many still frames it might as well be a powerpoint presentation, so disappointing.
Gargantia has been brilliant so far, interesting plot/setting, great production values and an exceptionally strong cast, will urobochi ruin the last episode? Probably.
Railgun...hahahahahahahaha
Yuyushiki is the best thing going this season somehow, isn't selling well because it's a 4koma adaptation and low sales pretty much come with the territory, but the production values are absolutely top notch and it's entertaining as hell.
Oreimo...bwahahahahahahahahahaha
SNAFU has literally noting going for it except it's absurd title.
Maou-sama is hilarious as shit, adore it.
Henneko and Date A Live, 2 shows that I had no intention of watching at all and openly mocked the second I heard about, are both fantastic, I can only conclude anime will come to an end very soon.
Muromi and Nyaruko are both hilarious as expected.
