and not an anime (yet) but Yotsubato! deserves a spot since its pretty much the successor to Azumanga

Love Hina was pretty good for a harem anime. It reminds me a little of Tenchi.

Ah yes, it's tittle was "Perfect Girl Evolution" in my country (yup, they released the manga here)..

You might find the Art-work to be quite disturbing (Shoujo style, beautiful boy, constant abuse of their naked chest), and yet i can't stop laughing myself when reading the story..

Sunako (Sadako, anyone )  and the way the author drew her chibi-deformed form is so hilarious

Some of the Comedy animes I've seen so far that I've enjoyed are:

Zoku takes the series in a turn like azumanga with shorts instead of trying to flimsily fit everything together in a full story. the whole dual subs in ep 2 in Zoku are freaken funny as hell,

them talking gibberish and 1 they have son goku trying to find the dragon balls or the other they have commodore perry trying to cleanse the negative energy out of Sensei and it all fits with whats shown on screen

also the murder mystery, the radio show, 'cultural' sports competition, the 50/50 ep, the explain the joke ep.

Goku though I think is my fav though, although the Conan and Kindaichi jokes in zan are really good

anyway this season its really hard to tell which comedies will be good Ladies versus Butlers!, Chu-Bra!!, Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu all look like they might be pretty funny

/random I wish they would remake negima! into a proper anime then that would be as good as Love Hina I bet

Baka to Test is the only one that doesn't have extreme fanservice written all over it. I'm only going to stick with this one for the winter season.

I think it's also called "The Wallflower"... Sunako is really funny in child form... The Sadako reference also made the show so awesome...
