Hunter X Hunter

One of my favourite manga/anime. IMO the only one to surpass it is Hikaru no Go.
Especially the first two arcs (Hunter Exam & Tower) were great, it lost a bit of quality afterwards, but now... Well, let's see how it develops...

I have read the first 23 books and watched all the anime available, including OVAs. Since I'll only read them as soon as they appear in Germany, it will take another year till I'm at 26 (and, if they are restarting, it may take longer until I've caught up completely).

I don't know how the series is treated in America, but in Germany it's rated 8+ and is in the library therefore located in the child-part, along with HnG and KaitouKid, while DC is, along with DragonBall, on another floor in the youth-section and DeathNote is placed in the adult section. Very strange sorting...

I hope it ends after this arc and Yoshihiro Togashi can somehow work with the people who made the anime to continue it.

It might be too much to hope for, but is there a somewhat reputable site where I could stream the second and third OVA series? I've gotten like six viruses trying to finish this anime, and it doesn't seem like the OVAs have been subbed in any official capacity.

They definitely have - *points to his own external hard drive* - and I definitely would recommend downloading them. Anyway, as for streaming, I'd suggest Veoh (though you apparently need to install the Veoh Web Player nowadays to watch them ), where they are in HQ. Still, downloading is probably to be preferred (this or this, both in HQ (if you already have anything else, just select only those you need ))

I would rather say that he no longer gives a crap about his manga.
He's just continuing hunter x hunter because if he publishes a certain amount of chapter per yer, he gets to have a check. This is what i think. So much wast in such a promising manga serie
