I watched this Anime on Cartoon network. Kenshin is one of my favorite Anime's.  8)  My favorite character was Sagara Sanosuke.  I also read a little of the manga.. I do like the manga better though.  ;)
"Wrong will be right, when Aslan comes in sight,
At the sound of his roar, sorrows will be no more,
When he bares his teeth, winter meets its death,
And when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again."

"When Adam's flesh and Adam's bone
Sits at Cair Paravael in throne,
The evil time will be over and done."

It is horrible and it gives you a depressing false story totally different from the manga. Read the manga for the arc after Shishio and for the true ending.
Agreed.  I share your thoughts exactly.
Hey, I have an idea, let's have a THIS SUCKS / NO THIS SUCKS / NO YOU / NO YOU argument for a couple pages, that will really be great. - Ingmar

I watched it on Toonami/Cartoon Network, bought the TV set (which was borrowed by a cousin who lent it to a friend who moved, so it's gone :(), and am currently watching the Sony dub of the TV series on Animax.
Testing a free Japanese TV streaming service here.

The anime doesn't follow the manga neatly.
The fact is, only the KYOTO ARC (the middle arc) is faithful to the manga.

You should try the MANGA, it's awesome!!!
One of the best shounen manga I've ever read!!!

I just recently read volume 10. So, obviously I haven't read anything in this topic, since there are mostly likely spoilers. =P

I did not.  Well, in the sense of it on Cartoon Network, I did not, but I did watch it on a website of which is probably Youtube, and I have to say that it impressed me.  The best impression that I received from this anime was not the fillers, but it was the beginning arc and the Kyoto arc that engrossed me into its story.  I especially enjoyed Shishio and Soujiro in combat with Kenshin and with all the story that went along with the fights.

now I'm at...I think 16. Not exactly my favorite manga but still great and I can see why it's popular.
