Just started watching this, now that it's close to the end, and as expected I'm loving it. This is exactly my type of anime.

Me too. I wonder how come players are allowed to contest cards? There's not any ref watching or anything (that I'm aware of), so couldn't it just turn into "yes she did no she didn't" to forever?

How unfortunate for Yumi that she couldn't beat the queen even though she was legit handicapped

The final episode looks good, kinda sad that we probably won't get a final win from chihaya though

Also, calling a second season now, the manga is selling really well, and even made number 1 this week, and the dvd/blu ray sales are looking pretty good as well, I've seen shows with fewer sales get multiple seasons, but if it doesn't get another, it'll be due to low advertising revenue, and if that's the case, screw japan

Also I never wanna hear the word "Yumin" again, they killed that during this episode

Even if she isn't consciously thinkin about it I feel like Taichi's still on her mind at least, since she was nervous this time when goin to Taichi's room (though she was like "that's weird I wonder why? :V"). Taichi's mom senses it too.

I feel like Taichi makes more of Chihaya and Arata than there really is though. Sure she likes Arata a lot, but that's to be expected considering that he was basically the person who got her started on karuta, which is pretty much the biggest thing in her life right now.

Chihaya is blinded to anything aside from Karuta, and Taichi isn't. That's all there is, I don't expect romantic stuff to happen before she becomes Queen.
