When I first read it a few months ago, the early chapters felt insanely repetitive.  Like, up until Azura appears (chapter 6) every chapter / pair of chapters has almost the same pattern of events.  Keeping in mind there's a chapter 0a, 0b, and 0c, that's essentially chapter 9 at 50 pages per chapter.

I am in chapter 5 and I see that this is accurate. However, this isn't as bad as Reborn! where they have like 50+ one chapter stories that are as similar to each other as the first 9 Kurohime chapters. (or at least seemed that way)

Yep, I have just read some of the Reborn chapters too! then I read the wiki page and start at a different chapter XDDDD (the Kokuro Arc) instead xD


Don't worry, Kurohime gets better, just think of this as introduction part, that needed when you wanna get to know the why and the how later on ^_^

(Reborn case is different, episodes are all separated at the beginning XD)

I was expecting this to be Ai-Ren sad or something but so far it really hasn't been anywhere close outside of a couple of parts (and that's arguable).

It is a very good fantasy/action manga though.

it went from nothing interesting happening to a couple of good plot twists to horrible plot twists dammit this isn't Tsubasa, this manga used to be fun
