CardCaptor Sakura

Post by Elika12 »

I remember seeing this anime when i was little but i never finished because the series gets over with a movie
but i finished seeing them last summer in one week
Spoiler:
Ten-year-old fourth grader Sakura Kinomoto opens a mysterious book in her father's study and accidentally releases the magical Clow Cards. Created by the half-English half-Chinese sorcerer Clow Reed, the Clow Cards were sealed within the Clow Book upon his death and represent a combination of magic from Clow's mixed heritage. Each card has its own personality and characteristics and can assume alternate forms when activated.

I only discover last year that CCS had a connection with Tsubasa Chronicles last summer too Image

Abbreviated as CCS.. The CLAMP greatest work of all time after their Magic Knight Rayearth...

Btw, it not just CCS with Tsubasa.. Almost every CLAMP works always had their previous series / character appeared as Cameo and recurring character...

For example, Angelic Layer with Chobits, X-Clamp with Clamp Gakuen, their time line is related and on the same universe...

Whereas Tsubasa Reservoir and XXX holic storyline has connection with almost all of CLAMP previous work / series

I started marathoning CCS a while ago, but I never finished. I should try again.

I liked how Tsubasa mixed almost all the series together. It's like reading canon fanfiction. LOL

Try reading the Manga if you don't have much time watching the whole episodes of the anime..

The story itself are not too different, but because it's shorter (only 12 books if i remember correctly) the number of Clow Cards she capture are fewer compared with the Anime..

And i personally preferred the manga ending than the anime, because Sakura and Shaoran actually meet again after they grew up in the Manga ;)

Hi, guys..
You know, I like Tsubasa Chronicles more..I don't know why..

(Maybe because Syaoran Li is so cute on the Chronicles of the wings)
It's my opinion only.

Hahaha. But I admit Card Captor Sakura is a good anime too.  ;D
