Okay. I haven't really watched any of those movies listed in there except for may be Requiem for a Dream which I have seen in bits and pieces. But all I can say after reading the descriptions beneath a few titles is--Just because a movie is disturbing doesn't really make it bad or make me lose faith in humanity.
For instance, Requiem for a Dream is described as being "dark" and "upsetting". But how does that really make it a bad film? D: Another one--House of Sand and Fog. I don't know how the conclusion being "dark", "depressing", and "endlessly unfair" makes it any different than the one I just described above.
Now I can't really comment on other titles such as Salò as they don't really strike me as my thing.

I haven't seen any of those, although I have seen the original Hostel and it wasn't great, just kinda crap torture porn. None of those movies look like they're bad movies, just dark, depressing or disgusting. There are plenty of good movies that are dark and depressing. I love The Pianist, which is about as depressing and horrifying as it gets but still an amazing movie. Same for Grave of the Fireflies.

I'm pretty sure it didn't say they were bad movies so much as they were, as manga said, dark, depressing, and disgusting.
I, happily, have not seen any of those, though I have heard of quite a few of them.

"Requiem for a Dream" is the only one I've heard of

I've actually seen a few of those movies (though not the more hardcore of them, because even as someone who likes horror-esque movies here and there, I don't like things that indulge in it needlessly without purpose). As a big fan of Lee Byung-hun, I was really excited for I Saw the Devil. It's a really interesting movie from a psychological perspective and the performances are great, but it is not for the young or the weak-hearted. There are some really brutal and disturbing scenes in it, which are present from start to finish.

The Mist doesn't belong on there though. Good movie with the worst ending of all time, but not really world-shattering. The rest seem sufficiently defeating.

Everything I know about Serbian film, Cannibal Holocaust or the Human Centipede comes from reviews, but I still wouldn´t put The Mist with them, it´s pretty good movie.

Of the ones from that list I've actually seen Oldboy. I'm not about to spoil it for
anyone, but there was quite a disturbing/disgusting scene around the end of the movie.
Trivia: That movie is actually loosely based on a Japanese manga series of the same title, though I haven't read it.

That was a very interesting, but despressing movie indeed.
