The Last of Us Remastered

Didn't that come out really recently?

EDIT: Yes it did, last year.

I didn't list Halo because I'm not a fan. I only listed games I care about.

You're referring to the original PS3 version.

The remastered PS4 version isn't being released until July 29, 2014.

I know what I'm referring to, my point is they're making a "remastered" version of a year old game. That's not a remaster that's a minor port.

What would be your example of a "remaster" then, if not a game like The Last of Us or Tomb Raider (2013 reboot)?

Maverick Hunter X and Dracula X Chronicals. Both are remakes of the games much further down the generational line with significant additions to content and change in graphics. Tomb Raider 2013 was more of a prequel. The problem is The Last of Us came out last year and looking at the features it's stuff like improved graphics (wont matter) and a director commentary. I'm sorry, but this seems like a way to trick people who bought the first one into buying the second.

So how about the new characters in Mortal Kombat X?

I hoped they would finally announce the sequel to the Golden Sun... or at least the Devil Survivor 2: Break Record. Nothing interesting this year at E3.

im just waiting for Nintendo Direct in August to give new info and depth on the games.

Those are complete remakes though, while remasters are just the same games with updated graphics/textures etc.
