I might wake up early and go running. I also might wake up and win the lottery. The odds are about the same.

So does Jd-. :P

Personally, I'm sticking with Elementary and may get around to Sherlock when the rabid fangirls go away.

This all feels like Edward vs. Jacob to me right now.

How? There's no boring, personality-less Mary-Sue for Sherlock and Moriarty to fight over! XD LMAO

I said "and" for a reason :P

99.9% of fangirling for this series happens in sherlock threads which can be easily avoided, the only time it really gets posted about off-season is when someone who hasn't seen it first watches it. Besides, it's not like your decision to wait to watch it later will shield you from what fangirling you do come across. There's really no reason for other people incidentally fangirling something affecting you as long as you don't associate with them.

I'd wager there aren't many people on DCTP who don't care about Ran vs Ai who end up disliking the series because of the incidental Ran vs Ai posts they come across.

It's called ignoring them. :) It works wonders. LOL

It's when it gets into real life and it's one of your personal FRIENDS that annoys you with fangirling/boying then you should wait until they get over it. XD

This series is nice too. :) Now I'm watching both this and Sherlock. :D
