Well I don't think that you will need the glasses but the image popping out is the same concept they are trying to get.

Um... the whole point of the autoretroscopy technology of the 3DS is that you don't need the ridiculous glasses.

Seems like it's going to be a challenge. :P
But it does sound interesting.

And soon, people will be able to go about sending 3D videos to all the people that they know of their little lives, assuming that their battery power survives long enough

The fact that the DS will only survive 3-5 hours makes me dislike it a bit.

Agreed. It could be better, but then again the technology that it uses must be very heavy on battery

Wtf. Nintendo let retailers free to set price for 3DS in Europe.

We are gonna get ripped-off big time.

For those who don't how how things go in Europe if you let retailers free, let me tell you.
They go for 1USD = 1EUR rate.
The 250USD for 3DS will translate to 250EUR.
250EUR is 337USD.

And since 3DS is region locked, it's no good idea to import an N. America device.
Moreover, the EU region itself it's fragmented. Buying a game localized for UK and you are let's say in FR has the risk of being unable to multiplay online with FR players.

Nintendo hate us.

I don't think Nintendo hates you all... Since you all are getting the 3DS before America (weird, but UK been starting to get somethings before America).
Sherlock Holmes - When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?

Conan Edogawa - A Detective who uses his deductive powers  to corner a suspect and then does nothing to stop that suspect from committing suicide...is NO better than a murderer himself.

I'm not going to be able to get it until July at the earliest... I don't know if that means that i'll be able to get it at lower than launch price, or if i'm going to be caught in an eternal reservation backlog like with the Wii XP

Ugh I hated that with the wii. Took me forever to find a store that was selling them early in the morning. Lucky for me I was able to get one before christmas the year it came out.
