Yeah, I would like to know that too.  I believe my 3DS was a pre-order, so....

When you use your camera a grey sign shows up saying SD card error. Also you can't make QR codes for me. And not sure if this is relAted but swap note special notes fail to work. Thats the only three real problems I've had so far. The memory cards work fine in the computer too and aren't locked at all either.
