Wow, no gamecube controllers? Super Smash bros. hmm.
Video game prices don't heavily depend on the disc size I believe - manufacturing the discs is literally like $.75-$ 2.00, bluray discs cost a little more, so I don't think its an issue. The reason why 360/PS3 games are 60 is because you have to pay a "console royalty" to Microsoft and Sony, which is usually around $12.
Nintendo charges around 10$, and this is why PC games are always cheaper, no console royalties. The reason why I believe the wii games were 50 dollars in comparison to the 360/PS3 games was probably due to quality (essentially gamecube software)
So, I'd think Nintendo possibly might charge 60 for their new games, which i wonder how much the next gen Sony MS games will cost then, considering they'll have at least a year's worth of tech development..

..wow. According to this article, if people want to play multiplayer games, the extra controllers will equate to your Nintendo 3DS's. 250 dollar controllers, eep. I just wanna go to a friend's and play super smash bros man..
Also, while I'm sure Nintendo's announcement conjured a lot of appraisal from their loyal fans and some question marks for others, it definitely didn't do so hot business wise - 10% drop in Nintendo stock - which is expected, no one was expecting monstrous sales like how they did with the wii again. Also, not really showing anything except a controller could be another thing too. Shuld of waited for next E3 so they could actually get some devs for their 3rd party games.
