Because the first HD episode was 453. Therefore the only HD episodes are the ones after 453 and the ones which have been remastered (1, 217-218, 222-224, 176-178...) though not all the remastered episodes have been subbed.

By the way, I would like to ask the staff if they have the original versions of episodes 222-224 ? Were any scenes cut in the remastered subbed version ?

wow, I never knew 176-178 have been digitally remastered; I only knew of the former ones that you mentioned.

Those subbed by Puto (Ep 126-127, 132-134, Short Story #1-7) in mkv cannot see the subtitle no matter how I tune. However those subbed by Puto-F (Ep 116-117, 120-123) are perfect. What is difference between Puto and Puto-F?

Since the subtitles are just pretty much stolen from FUNimation, I’m labelling them as “Puto-Fâ€

The last 2 eps should be released very shortly. so why don`t we make some list of eps that need to be resubbed?

236-237 will be resubbed by DCTP
331-332 (AZFS first release, I believe) will be resubbed by DCTP
361-362 will be resubbed by DCTP (I rewatch them just now and yeah, I think these eps need to be resubbed)
398-400 will be resubbed by Kienai
406-408 will be resubbed by Kienai

since all anfs will be resubbed, we can add 438, 443, 444, 448, 450, 451 454 and 455 to the list.
oh and 219, 345, 383 and 425 will be resubbed by DCTP

total 24 eps, or 26 eps if 264-265 is included

That`s... weird. they perfectly fine in my end. A codec problem or something? (that`s one of 4 reasons I dislike mkv format btw. The softsub sometimes behave differently)

We want to make definitive versions of all the specials. We now have greater resources, better raw sources, more experience, and better technology to do the job. Since the specials are important (like the movies), we want to make ones that will withstand the test of time.

For Ep 222-224, DCTP using Remastered version to sub, 3 episodes cutting to about 45 minutes causing some scene been cut off, so I wish DCTP can resub Ep 222-224 one by one.

Resubbing all specials are great idea, especially Ep 345, with 1400MB and 2 parts like Movie, let's see if possible to reduce to 700MB for this great special.

i believe that dctp wont use the master if some importance part is cut.

if the part is just minor things.....then it is okay right?
