It's awfully noticeable in the Camelot scenes, which is unfortunate. I was really looking forward to Camelot, too. I have other issues with the first episode than the CGI, though.
Spoiler:
Like how everyone's lost their memories. Again. Haven't we had enough of that plot point? Who says a curse needs to make everyone forget everything?
I'm still interested in Dark Emma, though she hasn't really got to shine just yet. I'm hoping she gets better.
I sincerely hope they don't make Zelena turn good. We need at least one proper villain.
The second episode was better. Not difficult to do, though, honestly.

The CG looks really bad this season, doesn't it?
It gets worse each season. You'd actually think they'd get better with technology ._.

I actually haven't even finished season 4. I'm too lazy and the CG isn't encouraging. But that TV show always gives me hope and even though I really hate sappy things, I tear up and I'm touched while watching it :p

Unrelated to the plot (which is... weird), the acting seems worse than usual this season. At first it was just Emma, but this latest episode, they really all just sounded like they were reading lines off paper.

But Henry is also the youngest actor there, so at least he should improve with time. The others have no excuses.

Just caught up on the last three episodes, and let's see...
Spoiler: Spoilers for S5 E5,6,7
- The acting still leaves a lot to be desired. "Rumpel's gone." spoken as though it's a mild inconvenience instead of Belle screaming about the man she supposedly loves being missing. Emma and her very flat dialogue is also grating. Henry's getting better though, which is nice.

- I really enjoyed the scene with Emma and Regina telling Henry to be himself if he wants Violet to like him. That was cute. Although it was ruined a little bit by Emma later ripping Violet's heart out (briefly).

- Merlin. I actually really like Merlin. And the story between him and Nimue is fascinating. Can't say I was expecting that (although I guess it isn't surprising). (Then again, when they first showed Merlin talking to the Dark One and the Dark One sealing Meriln in a tree, my thoughts were definitely 'so that's the woman Merlin loves, right?' but, like, going into these three episodes I didn't expect the story.)

- Speaking of plot twists that weren't really that twisty, as soon as Merlin said that there were two paths that Emma could take, I knew she wasn't going to kill Merlin. Come on, now. That's just what they want you to think with his cryptic message.

- Still don't like Rumpel. Meh. I'd rather he just died already.

- Zelena is still evil, which is great because so far she's the only character left from before this season started that hasn't been redeemed in some way, and she genuinely enjoys it. You do you, Zelena. Stick to those evil guns! Even if I can't stand you.

- I dislike King Arthur a little bit more every episode, and I'm so glad that they caught on to him not being quite the person they thought he was in Storybrooke. Even if that thing with the mushroom seems like a pretty stupid mistake for him to make.

- I forget what else happened in these episodes.

Yes the mushroom thing was really dumb. It's classic superhero story thing...Uhhh, you know, killing someone and not sticking around to make sure that someone is actually dead.

Spoiler:
I don't like King Arthur, but at the same time I absolutely love that they made him something other than the perfect king. It's nice to see that they don't have to use the molds for every character and are getting back to what they're good at - taking characters we know and twisting them.
I was going to be disappointed if Nimue hadn't been the first Dark One. They hinted at it for the entire episode, just about, and I almost thought they were going to end up going a different route. They didn't, and all was well. Haha.
Emma's acting is getting better, I think, but it's still not up to par. I am interested to see how they justify her complete shift to darkness, since she essentially 'defeated' Nimue in that last episode. That's the sort of twist we need, unless they just totally screw it up. Which they've been really good at for the last season and a half or so.

Totally agree with PT about Zelena, in fact we've had this conversation. She's the only truly 'bad guy' left, at this point. Even Emma will likely end up becoming the balance between light and dark (since they started hinting that it was possible; no way they're not going that route). I still wish they'd used Cruella better and given her more room to be a psychopath.
I like that Henry is starting to become his own person again. He didn't get a whole lot of development last season up until the last episode or two. There are so many interesting things they can do with him as the author, but they're not really exploring that, I think. Maybe they'll come back to it, since someone mentioned it in the last few episodes - Regina, maybe? I can't remember right off.

Whatever happened to Lancelot after they freed him and Merida from prison? Did he just fall off the face of the earth (again)?

Spoiler:
Lancelot probably did fall off the face of the earth. It's not like the group he was with would notice anyway - they didn't even seem to notice Belle was missing when Merida kidnapped her, after all, and they've spent a lot more time with her than they have Lancelot.
