Yeah, I don't think I'm gonna listen to comedy on the radio, works better on television I think. Besides I listen to too many podcasts of radio shows from both Germany's local stations and the BBC as it is.

Which guests there are is important to most panel shows, but QI is the only one I really enjoy no matter who's on. I think that may be because it deals with different topics every episode most of which are actually interesting.

I do watch Real Time, but I don't really consider it a panel show comparable to QI or HIGNFY. It's more of a political talk show that happens to have comedic elements to it. The guests tend to be political commentators and not so often comedians. It also lacks the one thing that most Britsh panel shows have in common: Points are awarded for correct answers which the panelists don't really care about.
But it is definitely worth watching.
