I've never been a fan of superman, I went to see the film by default since star trek was too late. It was nice, visually stunning (no I'm not just talking about Cavill and his crotch-fitting suit )
I had quite a few WTF moments, like, his father's death, how he can breathe in space, but not in the spaceship with krypton's atmosphere, I mean really, guys?
Mostly, wht I got from the film was: OMG SUPERMAN IS JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Americans... --')

Lois Lane wasn't useless, I thought she was really cool, though, the only other Lois Lane I can compare her to is Teri Hatcher (and I don't remember much of the show, anyway!)

Man of Steel 2 is not coming in 2014. If it does, I'll make Slider a mod. YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST.

Glad I wasn't the only one who thought that. It was a bit much, particularly when you add the stained glass behind him with Jesus painted on it. -.-;;

That's when I had (pardon the pun) an epiphany, and everything just got so clear, I nearly facepalmed.
