I live in St.Petersbourg, Russia. It's a big city and many artists come to perform here, but I've never imagined that one of them would be Kuraki Mai. THE Kuraki Mai! I love her songs (and thanks of course to DC anime for introducing her to me!) and at first couldn't believe the news of her upcoming concert.

I had some trouble getting the ticket. The Japanese embassy was handling the give-away, the tickets were sent to the people who usually come to such events and friendly organizations. I managed to find a person with a couple of tickets and begged for one telling that I can't miss this concert. Thankfully that kind woman was very understanding so I met her before the perfomance today and got my ticket.
There isn't actually a lot that I can say about the concert. It was fantastic. The orchestra is made of top-notch musicians (well, others don't perform in the great Mariinsky Theatre) and they were magnificent. Kuraki-san was astonishingly beautiful, very humble and gave an amazing performance. Here is the list of songs that we heard today:

Revive, Stand Up and the last three songs were granted the loudest cheers and applause. Powerful and unforgettable performance of the songs that I love so much. Man, you can't ask for more. While singing "Always" Kuraki-san encouraged the audience to help her with the "always give my love always give my love to you" part and I think I'm the only one who did it. Well, can't be helped. I'm not sure how many people there actually knew her and her songs (except the people from the embassy and other Japanese guests maybe).
And that's about it. My phone camera is from the Stone Age so you'll have to excuse me this photo:

There were people filming the concert with professional cameras so I hope that some footage will be uploaded to the Internet.
Sorry for my mess of an English. I'm way too excited right now!
