Please tell me somebody else is still keeping up with these and is as panicked as I am
Spoiler:
TAMIKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
CECIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLL

WHY NIGHT VALE

WHY COULDN'T YOU FIGHT

TAMIKA BELIEVED IN YOU

CECIL BELIEVED IN YOU

HE STAKED EVERYTHING ON YOU

I seriously thought I was going to cry during Cecil's angry speech. Especially his anger about poeple waiting on "a better world made for us, not by us."

CARLOS. GO SAVE YOUR BOYFRIEND WITH SCIENCE. PLEASE GO SAVE HIM WITH SCIENCE!

Spoiler:
I was thinking about Cecil's speech being a bit of a metaphor tbh. I mean, in context it's pretty depressing, but applied to situations in rl it's even worse, y'know?

And I seriously thought something was going to happen to Carlos given the situation with the house and Cecil being all "be careful" and how well everything was going (speaking of, so much of that pre-Weather was amusing: of course a cardboard sign will protect you, Cecil :V). But then Tamika and all the others who are likely going to be re-educated is... not a lot better, maybe even worse :|.

I would really like either Kevin to take over the station for next episode or for a re-educated Cecil to be talking. The latter is somehow creepier than Kevin because Cecil Baldwin does the voice so well that you genuinely can't tell it's not Kevin most of the time and then there'll be a phrase where you can hear the usual Cecil peek out and it's more horrifying that way imo.

I have thoughts as to future plot developments, but I can't even think of them right now 'cause of some other stuff. Um, yeah. Maybe the angels and there was a Josephine mentioned iirc? Can't even remember right now ^^;.

(I have particularly liked the recent Weathers thought btw. And the one for the most recent episode was especially apt given the situation.)

Spoiler:
I think that speech was deliberately designed to be relevant to the real world and social change. It's designed to strike a nerve with anyone who is fighting for a cause or is hesitant about fighting for one.

Also, I agree that brainwashed!Cecil does sound spectacularly creepy. But since they've talked about having Carlos on the show more, maybe we'll have Carlos snapping Cecil out of it with the Power of Love? I hope so *_*

And I only remember Josephine leaving with the angels. I wonder what the doors are about and where they go. Ooooh, and where's Dana and her faceless army?

KEVIN WHAT THE FECK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING
Spoiler:
I AM REALLY NOT OKAY WITH KEVIN BEING IN CECIL'S BOOTH

OR DECORATING IT WITH THE INNARDS OF THE SHAUNS

WHERE IS CECIL YOU BASTARDS

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH CECIL

AND TAMIKA

At least Carlos escaped... GOT SAVE YOUR BOYFRIEND WITH SCIENCE, CARLOS. Or better, find a way to get Dana and the giant faceless army into this reality. If there's anything that can take down Strex, it's a giant faceless army. C'MON, DANA.

Also, I have developed a headcanon that Lauren used to resist Strex, and they thought they broke her a long time ago, but being in Night Vale is restoring her rebellious streak...

Spoiler: 48 - Renovations
"He is holding a... cat!" was just delightfully narmy. Though the overall return was pretty awesome. I was surprised they didn't credit Cecil Baldwin for the episode because I checked for that beforehand, but I guess it helps avoid spoilers. I don't know why it's taken me until now to be reminded of Narnia with the doors to other worlds though :x. I'm fairly sure the photos of cats thing has been referenced before, but I can't think of whenabouts. If I'm right about that though then continuity much? :o

Spoiler:
Putting this on to listen to while I was in the bath was a bad idea. When Kevin opened with "You look FANTASTIC!" I immediately reached for a towel on the not unreasonable assumption that he could see me.

I may have screamed excitedly at the words "he is holding a cat", which is not something I ever expected to do but HEY, AT LEAST THEY'RE NOT GOING TO KILL KHOSHEKH'S KITTENS NOW :D And BAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA at what happened to Daniel.

I love how it's tied together a lot of seemingly random creepy things like Intern Maureen disappearing to get Cecil back to the radio station. And I'm pretty sure that a previous intern died taking photos of the kittens before. This episode had lots of lovely, lovely continuity XD I KNEW Dana was coming back!

I'm really hoping that Lauren stabs Kevin in an alley or something. I just love watching that woman's hidden rebel streak surface. The Whispering Woods being scared of Kevin was hilariously creepy.

WELCOME BACK CECIL. GO DANA. GO ERIKA. GO CATS. GO NIGHT VALE!

(But where are Carlos and Tamika Flynn...?)

THIS PART A WAS FULL OF WONDERFUL THINGS
Spoiler:
TAMIKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

TAMIKA IS VOICED

TAMIKA IS STILL FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT

TAMIKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

ALSO CARLOS

My heart bloody well broke when Cecil was like "I would really like for Carlos to come home now..." bby <3

But Carlos is just like "I'm not a hero. I'm a scientist." He's awesome and I'm glad he's alright.

Oh, poor Maureen. You should know better than to intern at NVCR.

I wonder if we're gonna find out who the new Mayor is in Part B?

*revives*

Most Recent Episode: Episode 65 - "Voicemail" (April 1, 2015)
"You have reached the voicemail of Cecil Gershwin Palmer."

Well, that was a whirlwind of an episode.
