Re: Star Trek
Just bought the entire 25 issues of Star Trek IDW ongoing at comixology. I liked it better than the TOS, actually. I am pretty sure most of the forum members dont read comics, but check it out. It's good. Especially the one-shots which focus on the characters.

Re: Star Trek
So I've just gotten up to the episode "Space Seed" and that's bloody Khan, isn't it. All of the badass points to Bones. Sodding KHAN is holding a knife to his throat and asking questions and all Bones does is direct him to the carotid artery. (Also quite stunned at all the moments to this episode the movie managed to reference. 72 crew members being the obvious one, but also the part where Kirk can only hurt Khan by tearing a piece of metal off the console and beating him with it.)
...but if Khan was actually a ruler, wouldn't Khan have been his title, not his actual name?
Also, "The Devil In The Dark"... I have to talk about the fact that even after it's killed more than fifty people, Spock is all for not killing the creature, but the split second Jim's life is in danger, "KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT"
Also, on the topic of Vulcan physical contact taboos... again, Spock comes out of the mindmeld of pain and grabs Jim's shoulders and half-hugs him and hangs off him and seriously, how insanely intimate is that for a Vulcan?

Re: Star Trek
If that was a question on your part, then the answer is "very intimate". I havent been seeing Star Trek after "The Menagerie, Part 2" as i am quite busy in TCGO and DC re-watch. I will start watching this, after, say, June 16 or 17th.
