yea I also remember when I got my sims 1.....everything was a mess XD I remember waking my sim up at 3am to send to water the dying plants in the garden :x XD

yea it had a story with it  :) really good, at the end your castaway can decide whether she want to go home or stay there.
it was fun, specially because of the pet chimp that you could have, I once bought this monkey tree that attracted monkeys but because your house doesn't have a door they came in and some of them weren't....so nice and tried to attack my sim :x
after that I sold the tree and they didn't come back  :D
yea so it seems, yup, generations looks awesome!

did you get any new rapid holes that you can place in your neighborhood?

omfg, plants in sims 1 ... XDD oh, the times. XD and then in sims makin' magic, you actually had the use for dead flowers? XD for spells? (if we're already at that topic, makin' magic is my all time fave add-on for sims 1) ... and I remember being just so impressed with the new baking oven that came with sims 1 makin' magic. :'DDD i mean, you could BAKE STUFF. fantastic~

and i loved the magic town as well ;~~; omg, the soundtrack for this expansion will forever stay my favorite~ though sims 1 in general had awesome soundtracks~

oooh, of course, Castaway is played at some island kind of thingy, right? sounds fantastic!!! last week I found some sims 2/stories games in a video game store for really cheap price ... thinking if i should buy one of those stories games.

i want more expansionss ;~~~; sims series is just made this way that even though you don't particularly like one certain expansion, you'll still miss it in the game. T.T

about the rabbit holes ... i didn't really check. ;~~; i will as soon as i come home for weekend!

*never had any sort of extras for the sims 1*

Castaway was really realistic, the cheap bed was mad out of twigs and leafs XD
and do you remember the hair stiles that came with....I think seasons....and another one that came with open for business were also of castaways and then that men's formal wear of a suit that was without shoes and the pants were rolled up and it looked just bad, I think it came with nightlife, well you had that same suit in castaways as everyday and formal wear it just was a bit more dirty. you also had many base game clothes but they were just broken and dirty(like a true castaway's clothes)
and then of course you had those typical island clothes which looked very similar to those that came with vacations just much more of them in different arrangements, some with flowers some without them and so on. the hair stiles were also very similar but you had some with some tiki like hat that I saw the royal (yep, there was a royal family) family use.

yea....but the big problem with sims 3 expansions is that they are huuuuge....it takes long to download them

That one where you can be a singer/ actress/ Hollywood person and rank up the celebrity scale. When you hit 5 stars, you go to work in a pink limousine and see people like Britney Spears and Avril Lavigne at work

oooh, I think I remember, which clothes you mean! XDD Though to be honest, I haven't played Sims 2 in quite a while. D: Royal family? XDD Now that sounds interesting!! I saw "Sims Pets Stories" in the store, kind of really want to buy it.

I own the physical copies of all Sims expansions up to Sims 3. x) As for Sims 3, I have Seasons and World Adventures ... aaand I'm slowly realizing, that there is this "SOMETHING" in every expansion pack that I don't wanna miss. ;~~~; Add my obsession with video games, (used) books and mangas ... yeeep, broke, if I don't organize it right. T.T like "this month you buy this and next month this and the next next month you can't really buy anything" ...

sorry, I couldn't yet check for new rabbitholes, all my willpower tries to go towards learning, since my exams start on thursday. ; ; but i'll definitely let you know, when I do!

There come pretty pretty asian clothes. About the furniture and such I don't really know much, since I've started exploring Egypt-like-place first and wanna get my Sim to the highest Visa level, before I go on and explore China-like-place. And apparently it's become easier to create asian Sims in CAS! Didn't yet try it out, though.

so, in a nutshell: learning for exams totally takes away my will to do anything else in terms of free time. it's just exhausting and i don't like it at all, when i can't concentrate fully on what i'm doing. so i just hang out on forums, read fanfiction/manga, watch random youtube videos and nom on chocolate in my free time, because it's not so ... demanding? in one month time hopefully it'll be better.    :'( (aaah, what am I saying, of course it'll be better)

yea, right now I'm about to star at uni and I don't have a clue of how much free time I'll have left after I start....but I hope to be able to play with my Sims 3 Pets when it gets downloaded

so far with my base game in the sims 3 I've found it very easy to make asian sims, I don't see how it could become more easier... but they can always surprise you XD

yay for double post

So here I am, I've had the Sims 3 Pets for quite some time a=now and I think that I can write quite a decent review of it now.

first thing I noticed when I got the sims 3 pets and I went into town was the ice cream truck, which I have called the creepy ice cream truck. The thing got that name after it stopped in front of my sims' house 3 am in the morning and stood there for 4 hours. I have had it stop at almost any hour of the night or day in front of my house, and it doesn't where or when it stops it will stay there for 4 hours. Also, you don't have to worry, the truck will always stop in front of whatever house you are playing in. Your sims will get a good moodlet if he get an ice cream and if he eats it too fast he'll get a brain freezed negative moodlet.

as you'll find out after you get the pack every town you go into you will be asked to place new lots like the cat jungle, dog park, horse ranch, and equestrian center. you better not even try to place them right away because the equestrian center needs a lot of 60/60 and at least in sunset valley there ain't no lots that size.

the new rabid holes are the 2 equestrian centers, one small one and one big one. You also have a new town, Appaloosa Plains, it is an all country themed town and much of of he clothes, hair, and stuff are all country-like. You also get some goth-like stuff. If you're into country stuff, this is just your pack.

The horses are awesome, you can teach them jumping skill and/or racing skill, or they can teach themselves, but if you sim is riding it he will gain riding skill.

I have not had much time spend on dogs or cats but what I know is that they both have hunting skill.
Dogs will search for rocks and metals and stuff like that.
Cats will search for small animals running around.

The Small Animals.
There are lots of them!
you get snakes, rodents, lizards, turtles, and both large and big birds.
when you buy their cages you get some options of what you want to stock in them, but those are totally not all the types you can get. If you go outside and search you'll find lots of other types of snakes, lizards, rodents, turtles, and big and small birds.
Going after the little animals is more profitable than going after rocks and so, the other day my sims caught a snake valued over 800 simeleons.

I use to play the Sims 1 with mods for anime characters. Ah! Good times good times! It lead to all kinds of crack.

I can't really see myself playing the new ones without there being good mods for it.
