I'm pretty sure there's some uses of words like "color" and the like that they need to make more UK-friendly.

From what I understand of a lot of EU game localization, that would be some pretty great satire if somehow true.

Normally, it's because they need to remove any instance of "doughnut" being spelled the lazy way or any reference to football as "soccer", but since neither of these heresies have taken place I'm not sure what the problem is.

Possibly it's licensing issues with Sonic and Bowser? I dunno, when it comes to licensing I wish the UK would stop trying to be a special snowflake, it just wastes everybody's lives and a game that's ready for the US is ready for the UK unless Lani Minella's horrific attempt at a cockney accent is involved.
