Of course there's going to be a Justice League movie, the pile of money made by the MCU so far is probably visible from the moon. Time will tell on that. Man of Steel's not looking too great so far, and if you have a crappy Superman I feel that may drag the rest of the League down somewhat.

Lot of good reading in this topic. I can't say I'm personally interested in the Justice League movie because most of those characters just don't appeal to me. I also can never reconcile Batman having anything to realistically do with Superman and gang when he's just a bloke.

I'm pretty sure we already have a bunch of crappy Superman movies, so another one won't make a difference.

The problem I see with making a "cinematic universe" for DC (like what Marvel did) is that a lot of the front characters (especially of the Justice League) are simply not interesting enough and they don't translate well to the big screen.

Well, the competent writing did make it work in the Justice League animated series, so I don't especially mind that element.

I demand a Captain Marvel (aka Shazam) movie.  It's one of the few DC Heroes that would not only work amazingly well on the big screen, but is an interesting character.  A fun loving kid (ie: not a brat) that can turn into this hero who looks like his late Dad with the powers of Greek Gods just by saying a magic word?  Powers that he got after helping an old man who needed assistance.

Thats what makes Batman so awesome... In Morrison's JLA, Martians say "You are defeated, Superman. Only Batman remains. He's just a man." "THe most dangerous man on hte face of the Earth. Cue Batman coming in and kicking their collective asses with a matchstick.

Before Guardians, Iron man etc were announced, who wouldve thought they would become so hit. I think there is a lot of potential in the Flash (Wally WEST, i hate barry allen), Nightwing etc.

Last movie needed more Robin.
Ended in a very dramatic way. I enjoyed it and All, but seriously, it could've had a better ending. Other than the ending, it's awesome. Anne hathaway as Catwoman is just awesome.

and when Bruce arrives, they are like... Hey Batman, Need any help?? We'll cheer for ya.

10+ years.  That's how long ago whoever ran it lost control of it and it was taken over by the League of Shadows.  Assuming they literally just made it a prison and not a torture chamber, that's quite a long time for the inmates to form a community-like way of thinking and strive to help each other.

Also, it's probable that all the rapists and murderers were murdered by Ra's Al-Ghul for raping and murdering his wife, and the people in there now are people that have gotten in the way of the League of Shadows, and therefore somewhat less likely to be outright evil.
